Come and join our AIBL Summer Cruise!

Meet us at  6:40pm by the CGN ticket cabin at Genève Mont-Blanc (this year, not at the Jardin anglais) before the boat departure at 19:00 sharp.

Your boat ticket can also be purchased on board (pls see prices below). The boat will leave at the latest at 7 pm sharp at Genève Mont-Blanc. The boat will be returning at 10:20 pm.

The boat ticket price for a group of a minimum of ten persons, before boarding: CHF 21.00 (CFF demi-tarif), or CHF 42.00 (full price), is to be paid directly to the CGN, ideally in cash. The ticket can be bought on board, but the price will be different: CHF 32.00 (demi-tarif) or CHF 64.00 (full price).

We will enjoy cocktails and a three-course meal with an Arctic char as main dish, served on the deck. The drinks are offered by the AIBL. For AIBL members, the cost will be CHF 65.- and for non-members CHF 95.-, to be paid in cash on board.

Join us for a special evening with a guided tour on the top of the Salève by either climbing or taking the Téléphérique du Salève.

The walk or the travel will be followed by a dinner at the Vertige, Restaurant panoramique.

Programme : to get to the top of the Salève, you have 2 options: 

Option #1 –  on foot : Meeting at 4:30 pm – at the bus stop “douane de Veyrier” (bus 8, see below).

The climb is approximately 1h30 (600 m. difference of altitude).

Option #2 – with the cable car : Meeting at 6:30 pm – at the bottom station, rue du Téléphérique, F-74100 Etrembières (free parking available at 100 m.).

Accessible by public transportation, from Gare Cornavin: Bus 8, arrêt Veyrier-Douane (9-minute walk to the téléphérique station).

In both cases : please dress comfortably and wear shoes allowing you to walk outside (the guided tour includes a short walk at the top of the Salève).

6:45 pm – Guided tour and apéritif : local products, non-alcoholic drinks.

7:15 pm – Dinner at the Vertige, Restaurant panoramique.

After dinner, everyone can climb down using the téléphérique (last departure from the top: 10:45 PM, duration of the ride: 4 minutes).

Participation Fee

CHF 70.– per AIBL member and CHF 100.- for a non-member, amount to be paid at the restaurant.

The fee includes: téléphérique ride up and down, guided tour, apéro and dinner.
